MR Solutions in Drillings, located in the heart of Vale do Aço, was founded in 1996, when it worked with refractory maintenance in blast furnaces, which was developed throughout the following 5 years at Usiminas.

In 2001 we extended our acting area, by using accumulated know how in over 25-year experience in siderurgic blast furnaces operation. This way, MR Solution in Drillings has dedicated to the development of tools related to drilling and repair of iron notches. Combining technical knowledge to the practice of decades in its founder’s field, MR starts delivering solutions in drillings to the Market and stands out in making drills, hafts, rods and reamers/sandpapers. It’s worth mentioning that MR was the pioneer in the production and trade of rod with button drill in Brazil. Throughout our history, we’ve always taken our clients as partners who made us able to test and evolute our products, in a responsible way. Thus, through individual participation of professionals from the mills themselves, which are spread all over Brazil, we’ve got to the current concept of tools and subcontracted work, focused on delivering integrally what our partners need.

Within this philosophy, for the last nearly twenty years, we’ve enlarged our participation in the national market and become the leaders in providing tools for drilling and repair of iron notches in our country.

packages (PET tapes and supports of recyclable materials), this way we
